So the first 2014 Perspectives Women & Men's Rap Session went down this past weekend and it was a success. I enjoyed seeing a lot of my friends whom I haven't seen in quite some time. I also enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of my social media friends face-to-face finally.
Special shout out to Terrence Joseph and Darwin Antoine for their hospitality and professionalism. Please be sure to check the Perspectives Rap Session page for captured moments.
We discussed chemical love vs emotional love, lessons from our parents that continue to and no longer serve us, going dutch on the first date as an option, and when women's shoes don't fit, among other interesting topics.
I'm thankful for the continued interest and support and look forward to facilitating the next one next month.
I'm Ellen Gee. When I'm honest, we learn things. When I'm not, we learn things too.
